This market represents one of MNX’s fastest growing sectors and with the implementation of this new technology, they expect to increase their market share of this multibillion dollar vertical market.

“With this GPS technology we can address any inquiry about the location and path of the thousands of shipments we manage for our customers. By enabling our clients with real time GPS location tracking of their shipments, MNX will offer a unique layer of service, security, temperature integrity and reliability” said Scott Cannon MNX CEO — “This will be a significant improvement over anything else available in the industry and we are excited about the opportunity to become a pioneer and work with GTX Corp.”

The GTX Corp 2-way GPS platform is already being used to track athletes, seniors and children, so this was a natural progression for the Company to formulate a partnership with MNX and enter into the monitoring of high valued assets such as medical and pharmaceutical shipments. “Introducing our PLS platform into a 4th vertical market represents a major milestone for the Company. This partnership leads to the continuing global deployment of our products, IP and platform licensing,” states Patrick Bertagna CEO of GTX Corp.

“By realizing that Scott was continuing to build MNX by investing heavily in technology to provide better service for their customers provided the common ground for this initiative. Listening and gaining an understanding of how MNX worked, allowed us to create an outline to provide a feasible, cost effective global solution for MNX, utilizing the GTX Corp platform.” states Patrick Aroff an advisor to the Company who over the past 9 months helped cultivate the partnership with MNX CEO Scott Cannon and GTX Corp.

EIGHT BILLION MINUTES SPENT ON FACEBOOK DAILY:

EIGHT BILLION MINUTES SPENT ON FACEBOOK DAILY: More than 8 billion minutes are spent on Facebook every day, Facebook executive Mike Schroepfer said in a talk Wednesday at the Web 2.0 Summit here. Some 2 billion pieces of content are shared every week, and 2 billion photos are uploaded each month--1.2 million served per second on a "peak day," he said. Five billion calls to Facebook's application program interface (API) were made on Tuesday. It's huge: Schroepfer, Facebook's vice president of engineering, was focused on talking about the challenges of scaling a social network to the more than 300 million active users it has today. "Is social media a time waster or a new and better way to communicate? We’re in the early stages still; I think well find its the latter, said Maryanne Conlin co-head of Levine Communications Office Social Media Division LCO 2.0.

The cumulative web pages of each K-12 school reach a total audience of over one million in 33 States and Washington DC. Hundreds of thousands of students, teachers and parents are now being notified by the Code Amber Missing Persons Alert News Service. This is a significant new partnership for Code Amber as it continues to expand its reach and audience through partnerships and with the recent launch of Code Mobile available direct on iPhone, Blackberry and Google smart phones. Working together they will support local law enforcement agencies in their efforts for a speedy recovery of missing persons," said Bryant Harper, President of the Code Amber News Service and Code Mobile.

On the heels of this new partnership with WildFireWeb and the launch of Code Mobile, Marc Klaas, renowned child advocate who established the KlaasKids Foundation, has made himself available to parents of kidnapped children, and has appeared frequently on Larry King Live, CNN Headline News, and Nancy Grace, created this You Tube video. The endorsement of Code Amber by Mr. Klaas is an affirmation that Code Amber and Marc Klaas are committed to the relentless pursuit of making a difference when it comes to the safety and welfare of missing persons.

The U.S. Department of Justice reports 797,500 children (younger than 18) were reported missing in a one-year period of time studied; resulting in an average of 2,185 children being reported missing each day with 203,900 children were the victims of family abductions and 58,200 children were the victims of non-family abductions.

"There is no more important thing we can do as a society than look out for each other's children," said Diane Dimond -- nationally known reporter, respected commentator, and frequent guest on CNN who also has a Code Amber endorsement video on You Tube.

The abduction of Elizabeth Smart

The abduction of Elizabeth Smart was a depraved assault against us all. It took away the sanctuary that each of our homes was supposed to provide our loved ones. Patrick Bertagna set out to develop a solution and founded GTX Corp technology that would afford each of us embedded GPS monitoring solutions that would discretely provide our location on a smart phone, PDA or computer. Nine months of terror could have been reduced to nine seconds, nine minutes or nine hours, but not nine months.

SALT LAKE CITY October 1st, 2009 @ 8:56pm -- It was a moment six years in the making. Elizabeth Smart took the stand at U.S. District Court Thursday during a competency hearing for her accused kidnapper Brian David Mitchell.

For two hours, the 21-year-old recounted the details from the nine months she was held in captivity. [CLICK HERE to read Elizabeth Smart's entire testimony]

She testified Brian David Mitchell came into her bedroom on the night of June 5, 2002, held a knife to her throat and told her to get up quietly, or he'd kill her and her family.

She said he told her to get her shoes on. When she reached for slip-on shoes, he told her to get some tennis shoes.

Code Amber Alerts on Your iPhone and iPod Touch

This is not your uncle Olaf's Volvo..

Code Amber has been publishing Amber Alert and Missing Endangered Alerts on the Web since August of 2002. We have over 440,000 participating web sites and desktops in our syndication network.

Now we have released our Code Mobile Amber Alerts and Missing Endangered Alerts App for iPhone and iPod Touch.

This is not an interface to a web site. Using the iPhone's GPS capabilities we know where the phone is and "Push" a notification to phones in the vicinity of the Alert. All Alerts for the US and Canada are viewable but if you are in the area you will get notified.

Our goal is to mobilize an entire community proactively when a child, a senior or a developmentally disadvantaged person is missing.

Imagine an entire community being notified and on the lookout within minutes of someone in danger going missing.

The App is free and available here http://www.itunes.com/app/codemobile
